Bendon Bursary – Lamin Njie

The second beneficiary of a Bendon Bursary in January 2019 was Lamin NJIE. He started his Nursing degree and is now, January 2020, starting his second year after completing three first year trimesters. As you will see from the details below, he has an impressive track record which shows how he has always tried to improve his knowledge and skills. The trustees at aidgambia -TCHC are very happy to be supporting his studies which he combines with a heavy work schedule at a community health centre. In January 2020 Lamin received a further cash award and was presented with a reconditioned laptop that will revolutionise his studies. He was previously reliant on a mobile phone to access his university lecture notes and presentations!
